Irish schoolgirl stuns with beautiful song about the suffering of children in poverty
16-year-old school girl Róisin Seoighe has one PREDA song contest for her “Freedom Song” which highlights the plight of children across the world.
PREDA are a charitable organisation which provides finance and assistance to children in poverty in the Philippines.
From first listen, the Galway girl’s talent is evident, with a haunting voice which would send shivers down your spine.
Her voice is reminiscent of Damien Dempsey, so it is no surprise to learn he has commended her talent, admitting to being overcome with emotion because “this young song writer truly connected with the plight of the children”.
